Lauren Stern

Lauren Stern, is a licensed speech-language pathologist with a doctorate in clinical science. She brings extensive experience working with individuals across the lifespan in both medical and educational settings. Lauren specializes in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and is passionate about delivering speech and language services that are evidence-based, neuro-affirming, and rooted in family-centered care.
Lauren emphasizes a whole-body approach to speech therapy, integrating movement and motor control into the therapeutic process to support communication as a full-body experience. She acknowledges that everyone learns in their own way and thoughtfully integrates this understanding into therapy to meet each child’s unique needs. Lauren is passionate about supporting children and their families through individualized, play-based therapy grounded in research and compassion. Outside the clinic, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, experimenting in the kitchen, and practicing yoga as a certified instructor.
