Katie is a fully licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist who has been practicing since 2013, earning her Undergraduate and Graduate Degrees from the University of Central Florida. She spent the first 11 years of her career working in the public school system, gaining extensive experience evaluating and treating elementary-aged students with varying exceptionalities. Katie has a passion for child-led therapy, always considering the latest evidence-based and sensory-based approaches to individualize treatment. She believes the most growth happens when building a rapport is prioritized, as it fosters a safe and fun therapist/patient relationship. Katie has a special interest in early intervention, speech sound disorders, Autism, and AAC, utilizing multimodal communication and learning through play.
