Dulcinea Garves
SLPA
Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant
Hello! My name is Dulcinea Garves, but most people call me Dulce. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Lehman College. I’ve spent much of my career working with children in both educational and therapeutic settings. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong foundation in behavioral therapy, with a special focus on supporting children on the autism spectrum as they work toward their communication and developmental goals.
I am passionate about helping children grow in ways that feel natural, joyful, and meaningful to them. I believe that play is one of the most powerful tools we have to foster connection and encourage communication. My approach is playful, creative, and deeply rooted in compassion.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me crafting, caring for my growing collection of plants, or soaking up some fresh air with my family. I love anything that involves creating, especially if it means making a mess and memories at the same time.
We’re always looking for passionate and dedicated professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of children. If you’re an Occupational therapist, Speech therapist, Physical therapist, Feeding therapist, and Mental health counselor who values collaboration and compassionate care, we’d love to hear from you.
